The D270 Portable Echo Sounder is a single-beam depth sounder independently developed by CHC Navigation. It features a breakthrough integrated water temperature sensor that enables real-time sound velocity correction based on water temperature, significantly improving depth measurement accuracy. Powered by the Linux operating system, it supports parameter configuration and map trajectory display via mobile web browsers, includes 8GB built-in storage, and eliminates the need for bulky laptops in the field. With IP67 dust and water resistance, shallow water alerts, data anomaly notifications, and raw data backup storage, it reduces fieldwork intensity. Ideal applications include river cross-section surveys, reservoir capacity calculations, and channel dredging volume measurements.
