The HPE Synergy 12000 Knife Frame is an innovative, molded infrastructure that enables flexible use of compute, storage, and networking for HPE Intelligent Management Software architecture. These features are provided to users in the form of “infrastructure as code”.
Hardware flexibility, combined with embedded intelligence, automatically discovers a wide range of available resources for rapid deployment and use. Compute, storage, and fabric resources can be quickly reshaped to meet any workload needs by shaping management hardware with software-defined profile templates.
Operations using a single knife frame can be scaled to large environments with multiple devices. Smart Toolframe Link technology easily scales from a single HPE Synergy 12000 toolbox to 21 toolframes by using the HPE Toolframe Link Module and HPE Synergy Composer 2 (built-in HPE OneView).

Updates to the beta component collection can be safely handled using a dedicated data network with a redundant path configuration, separate from the management network. HPE Synergy provides 10Gbps of dedicated bandwidth to help improve security and control.
The HPE Synergy 12000 Knife Frame is designed for data centers with AC or DC power. The HPE Synergy Knife Frame also fits most standard racks in a 10U form factor and connects to industry-standard power supplies for quick and easy installation.

Each HPE Synergy 12000 Knife Frame includes an automated cooling system that dissipates heat from both current components and future high-temperature versions. HPE Synergy is designed with room for heat dissipation without impacting component operation, ensuring peak utilization of your workloads.
