The HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 server features a scalable chassis with the new HPE Modular Drive Backplane as a configurable option that supports up to 30 x 2.5″ small drives, 19 x 3.5″ large drives, or 20 NVMe drives, and up to 3 double-wide GPUs.
HPE DC Permanent Memory with DRAM enables fast, high-capacity, low-cost memory and storage to quickly store, move, and process data to transform big data workloads and analytics.
Combined with the integrated SATA HPE Dynamic Smart Array Controller S100i for boot, data and media needs, the redesigned HPE Smart Array Controller gives users the flexibility to choose the 12Gb/s controller that best suits their environment, with support for both SAS interface and HBA modes.
On-board 4x1GbE network controller/network card optional NC models do not include on-board network controller6, you can choose between HPE FlexibleLOM or standard PCI-E network adapters, providing network bandwidth ranges and configuration options from 1GbE to 40GbE, allowing customers to adapt and evolve their changing business needs.
In addition to traditional operating systems, a wide range of operating environments from Azure to Docker to ClearOS are supported.
Security innovation
Only HPE offers industry-standard servers that anchor the main firmware directly to the silicon chip. With Trusted Silicon Root, built-in security is built throughout the server lifecycle.
With a real-time firmware validity verification mechanism that runs millions of lines of firmware code before the server operating system boots, HPE iLO Advanced Security Edition provides 24-hour core system firmware validation to verify the validity and trustworthiness of the server firmware.
The Secure Recovery feature allows the server firmware to fall back to the last normal state or factory settings when bad code is detected.
Enhanced security features include Server Configuration Lock, iLO Security Dashboard, and Workload Performance Advisor, which provides real-time tuning recommendations to improve performance
The TPM5 provides additional security options to block unauthorized server access, while the Intrusion Detection Suite leaves logs and alarms when the server cover is removed with the authorization of the secure storage component.
