The HPE Edgeline EL8000 Converged Edge System is designed to help manage the massive amounts of data that are being generated by taking advantage of different computing capabilities. The HPE Edgeline EL8000 is deployed and managed in the same way as traditional data centers with HPE ProLiant e920 and e920d blade servers. The HPE Edgeline EL8000 is compact and rugged enough to withstand abnormally high temperatures from 0°C to 55°C, while featuring a flexible, modular architecture that makes it easy to scale compute power and technology in the data center and directly to the edge of data generation.

Designed for space-constrained environments, the HPE Edgeline EL8000 Converged Edge System is sleek, measuring just 17 inches deep and suitable for deployment into infrastructures where space is too limited for other x86 systems.
Whether it’s a telecom environment, a mobile vehicle, or a manufacturing floor, the 8.7-inch wide chassis provides additional flexibility for deep edge deployments. This NEBS-compliant system is securely scalable.

In addition to monitoring the health and status of power supplies, manage the chassis fan speed for each installed blade server to improve efficiency and reliability. This system simplifies firmware upgrade management and implementation of HPE Edgeline Chassis Manager.
