Description
HPE Apollo 2000 Gen10 Plus Server
The HPE Apollo 2000 Gen10 Plus is a new generation of high-density multi-node servers powered by Intel’s 3rd Gen Scalable Series processors or AMD 2nd/3rd Gen EPYC Series processors for efficiency, compute density, and scalability.
System performance and optimization
The HPE Apollo 2000 Gen10 Plus System offers 4x the density of a 1U rack server, which means four 1U servers (compute nodes) can fit in a 2U chassis. This makes it possible to make the most of the space in the data center.
The 1600W, 1800-2200W, and 3000W power supplies extend the power supply capacity and provide N+N redundant power availability.
High-speed infrastructure based on the latest industry-standard components can deliver high performance to accelerate applications.
Comprehensive server security and management
Only HPE can offer industry-standard servers with firmware solidified in silicon via HPE iLO5 and Trusted Silicon, and Secure Processors can be part of Trusted Silicon, which is a dedicated Secure Processor (SoC) embedded on a chip in AMD EPYC systems.
When compromised code is detected, the Secure Recovery feature restores the firmware to the last known good state, minimizing the likelihood of system outages.
While the firmware is running, daily verification performs a daily check of the firmware and alerts when compromised code is detected, resolving issues before they impact the system.
Shared infrastructure enables more efficient system management.
Flexible, scale-out building blocks
The HPE Apollo 2000 Gen10 Plus System allows you to easily scale up to multiple servers (compute nodes), giving customers the capacity to scale for future growth.
Provides full storage and I/O flexibility to help optimize performance or cost to deliver the right compute power for a wide range of workloads.
A wide range of storage enclosures from 0 to 24 SFF SAS/SATA drives are available, with support for NVMe drives.
Compute and storage resources for a wide range of workloads
The HPE ProLiant XL225n Gen10 Plus Compute Node features a 2P/1U half-width design and is powered by AMD EPYC 7002/7003 Series Processors. The HPE ProLiant XL220n or XL290n Gen10 Plus Compute Node is available in a 2P/1U or 2P/2U half-width design and is powered by Intel’s 3rd Gen Scalable Series processors. These compute nodes support 16 DIMMs and offer multiple network connectivity options, including fiber connectivity and 2 PCIe Gen4 slots. Each chassis supports up to four 1U nodes.
The n2400, n2600, and n2800 chassis offer multiple panel options with SFF SAS/SATA/NVMe drives to suit a wide range of HPC applications and enterprise workloads. Each chassis supports 5+2 redundant fans; RCM option with 1 integrated management for unified management of multiple nodes; Supports up to 2 power supplies, 1+1 redundancy.
