The H3C Superdome Flex adopts the RAS design specifications of traditional small computers and the modular physical partition expansion architecture, with every 4 processor modules forming a chassis, and the system seamlessly scales from 4 processors to 32 processors in increments of each chassis. Therefore, no matter the size of the key business, you can start with a small-scale configuration and choose to scale horizontally or vertically at any time according to your actual needs, significantly reducing the acquisition and use costs, and is suitable for the industry’s most popular application scenarios: Unix-to-Linux migration (U2L), high-performance computing (HPC) and SAP HANA. The H3C Superdome Flex server is highly scalable, scaling up to 32 processors (896 processor cores) in a single operating system.
H3C Superdome Flex is optimized for future memory-driven computing scenarios, and the memory capacity of a single machine can be expanded from 768GB to 48TB, providing more than 60 times the memory expansion space. With a large-scale, ultra-low-latency, and high-bandwidth interconnect architecture, H3C Superdome Flex ensures that system performance grows linearly as the size of the system configuration grows.
H3C Superdome Flex can be optionally configured with Application Tuner Express (ATX) software, which can optimize the memory access efficiency of the application software under the Non-Uniform Memory Access (NUMA) architecture server, which greatly improves the overall performance of the H3C Superdome Flex server.
Elastic scaling, unlimited freedom—adapt to changing business needs
With the modular design of 4 processors and the galvanically isolated physical partition technology, one H3C Superdome Flex can be flexibly divided into multiple physical partitions at any time as needed, and multiple physical partitions can also be combined into a larger partition or a single system as needed. Each partition can be configured with different memory capacity, processor type, and different types and quantities of PCIe cards to meet the workload requirements of each partition.

H3C Superdome Flex provides a proactive troubleshooting analysis engine that predicts hardware failures and initiates self-healing without human involvement, greatly reducing O&M workload and complexity.
With the “Firmware First” scheme, hardware-level errors, including memory errors, can be controlled to ensure the system runs smoothly before any interruptions occur at the operating system level.
With Serviceguard for Linux (SGLX) high-availability clustering and disaster recovery solutions, H3C Superdome Flex ensures business continuity by preventing total IT infrastructure disruption and application service disruption in physical servers or virtual environments over any distance.
