Mission-critical customers like you can continue to use HPE Integrity NonStop, deployed on top of any architecture, to provide a flexible business foundation without having to make any trade-offs.

HPE Integrity NonStop X NS7 X1 with InfiniBand increases system interconnect by more than 25×2 (to handle business growth) and more than 1x performance capacity3 (to handle intensive transactions). In addition, the NS7 X1 can add capacity online, providing near-linear scalability and no application disruption.

HPE Integrity NonStop systems come with built-in clustering, workload balancing, and online management to deliver continuous application availability and meet the most demanding uptime SLAs. HPE Integrity NonStop Systems can scale up to 16 NonStop CPUs within a single system (node), each running its own copy of the NonStop operating system, and it can also scale out to 4,080 NonStop CPUs on 255 networked NonStop nodes.

25x increase in system interconnectivity

At the heart of the NS7 X1 is a system interconnect based on industry-standard InfiniBand technology. The NS7 X1 provides the foundation for NS7 X1 system interconnect with the modular efficiency of the industry-leading HPE BladeSystem c7000 Platinum chassis and 4X FDR (14x data rate) InfiniBand double-wide switches. These switches are based on a dual-fault-tolerant switching fabric that delivers up to 56 Gbps of bidirectional bandwidth per NonStop CPU and the entire system, enabling extreme scalability, fabric flexibility, high throughput, and low latency.

Based on Intel Xeon processors

The HPE Integrity NonStop X NS7 X1 based on the proven HPE ProLiant BL460c Server Blade is powered by Intel Xeon E5-2600 v2 series processors and supports up to 192 GB of memory per NonStop CPU, with a maximum memory capacity of more than 3 TB per system (node). The use of low-profile blade servers connected via InfiniBand technology doubles the NS7 X1’s NonStop CPU density in a single c7000 chassis.

HPE Integrity NonStop Systems come with an integrated, fault-tolerant software stack from the start. These systems provide you with fully tested and validated hardware and software solutions for out-of-the-box efficiency. The NonStop software stack includes the NonStop operating system and OSS file system, security, system administration, middleware, Java and Java frameworks, a modern development environment, and one of the most scalable, fault-tolerant databases in the world.

HPE Integrity NonStop X is an L-series version with the NonStop operating system. The NonStop X software stack is optimized to take advantage of the x86 architecture and leverages InfiniBand technology to improve software performance across the system. Security and time synchronization software are included in the NonStop operating system.

NonStop X offers both HPE NonStop SQL/MX and SQL/MP database products with all the latest features to support massive scaling. It also offers middleware products, as well as Java and Java-related frameworks. The HPE NonStop Development Environment for Eclipse (NSDEE) and compiler have been enhanced for x86 architectures.
