Cray XD manageability and security
Cray XD integrates industry-standard BIOS and BMC components, including support for industry-standard DMTF Redfish to better enable heterogeneous management control solutions.
The Cray XD BMC includes a hardware root of trust and recovery solution with a validated firmware signing chain of trust that is NIST compliant to ensure that the firmware is never compromised. If the code is corrupted, the auto-recovery feature restores the firmware to its last normal state.
